I’m Rona, the founder of Reflections of Truth™.
I’m a woman of God with a great desire to do good in this world by sharing the Truth and Love of God with others through the creative work that God has blessed me with.
The Lord gave me this vision to start Reflections of Truth in 2014 to help me remember where my help comes from when faced with hard times.
Therefore, I have combined my love of photography with my love of God’s Word to create Scripture Cards and Wall Art for encouraging others going through trials of their own and lead them to our very reliable Source of True Help - the Lord God Almighty, El Shaddai.

My work as a photographer is a dream come true.
I love capturing God’s creations and turning them into a work of art to show off how wonderfully creative He is.
I love to photograph anything with wings! Wings reflect God’s amazing creativity.
Butterflies are in most of my photographs (and the Reflections of Truth logo), as they are symbolic of transformation.
I see it as a reflection of our Creator’s design for our lives where He desires for us to put our faith in Him, so He can make us into the likeness of His Son, Jesus Christ.

Making greeting cards has always been in my creative genes.
Why Cards?
They deliver love! And they bring unexpected joy into someone’s day.
One of my favorite pastimes was when I wrote to an elderly man who had recently lost his wife of many years and was lonely. I met Roger, who was in his late 80s, at the golf course where I worked in Connecticut. Shortly after meeting him, I moved back to Nebraska and began making cards to send to him along with copies of photos from recent photo trips to brighten up his day.
When Roger passed away in 2016, I received a call from his daughters to let me know of the news and to thank me for all the many cards and pictures that I had sent to their father over the years. He kept them ALL!
The sweetest joy was found in dropping those cards in the mailbox. Even sweeter was receiving cards in return from Roger!
My hope is that you would make time to consider people who are alone and drop them a note card to remind them that they have not been forgotten about and invite them to join you for a cup of coffee or perhaps a lunch date.
(Above image is one of my first digital cards made using MS Publisher for my dad around 2001 and the most recent note cards made with Adobe Creative Suite).

I am deeply passionate about our Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
I have come to know the Lord as my true Source of help since being made new in 2007.
WHAT I KNOW - Looking back I know that He has “never once failed me nor abandoned me”. (Deuteronomy 31:8)
“He has been with me and I have lacked nothing.” (Deuteronomy 2:7)
I am no stranger to dark valleys. As a single woman, I have had to rely solely upon Him and I know that the Lord is my True Help. He is my Deliverer, my Provider, my Protector, my Guide, my Comforter, my EVERYTHING.

I was never planning on having a cat, but God in all His wisdom knew what I needed and gave him to me at just the right time upon my move back to Nebraska in 2009. I thank the Lord daily for this sweet boy who will be 17 on St. Patty’s Day 2026!
I believe God gave us pets not only for enjoyment, but to teach us about how to do life better with one another.
Take time if you haven’t already, to reflect on their ways and responses to us. You will see that they too have been hardwired by God for a purpose bigger than we know.
Watch closely as they teach us how to Love and Forgive, how to find Joy as they greet us at the door, as they respond to Kind and Gentle responses vs not so kind or gentle responses, as they show us what Loyalty is and how to Protect those they love, and more.
Main thing is... they will teach us about love in grand ways, just as 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us.
Let’s take notice and let Love Abound in our lives.
My hope is that you would join me in living a life of purpose, being doers of the Word, and make a commitment to serve as Christ did by helping others in their time of need.
There is a GREAT NEED for real human connection in our world today.
So many are feeling lonely, forgotten and are fighting silent battles. I know it well as I’ve lived it for many years.
All it takes is for acknowledging what truly matters in this life (as God tells us) and take action.
It’s what God would want of us.
We need one another.
Let’s find time and come alongside our sisters (and brothers) and fight for them, and pray with them, and see battles won in Jesus’ name!
